Waiting on Wednesday (18)

Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Here's what I'm waiting on this week:

This Song Will Save Your Life

Making friends has never been Elise Dembowski’s strong suit. All throughout her life, she’s been the butt of every joke and the outsider in every conversation. When a final attempt at popularity fails, Elise nearly gives up. Then she stumbles upon a warehouse party where she meets Vicky, a girl in a band who accepts her; Char, a cute, yet mysterious disc jockey; Pippa, a carefree spirit from England; and most importantly, a love for DJing.

Told in a refreshingly genuine and laugh-out-loud funny voice, THIS SONG WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE is an exuberant novel about identity, friendship, and the power of music to bring people together.

Publusher: Farrar, Strauss, & Giroux
Publication Date: September 13, 2013

I have to admit, I do have an advanced copy of this title from NetGalley, but since it doesn't release until September it's far down on my TBR list.  I love the cover though, and I can't wait until it's time to read it.  I'm looking forward to this one!

What are you waiting on this week?  Let me know in the comments!
