I enjoyed this book because although it's enjoyable for adults, the illustrations and short bursts of text are great for kids too. The theme of growing up went completely over my four year old's head, but the fun of making a huge snowman and watching it tumble over were right up his alley.
The best part of the story? The snowman has FOUR snowballs. He looked up at me and said "Can you do that? Make a snowman with four snowballs?"
My little goofball, showing off the face he would have if the snowman was falling on his head
This is a great little book that's perfect for boys and girls, young and old.
Plus, with all the frickin' snow we've been getting this winter, I think an epic snowman building session is in order. These photos are of our current snow pile. There's another 20 cm forecast. The snowman may just build itself at this rate.
In December, I posted a review of this little gem of a book. If you missed it, click on this post, REVIEW: THE LAST SNOWMAN. I liked the book so much I jumped at the chance to be part of the blog tour for the book.
I get to share the book with YOU! That's right, I have a giveaway open to residents of Canada and the United States that includes not only a paperback copy of the book, but a whole swag bag of awesome stuff.
